"Where exactly are we celebrating?" is the question your guests ask most often. In the section "Location" you answer it once and for all: with the address, the time, a map, the dress code and everything about parking. You will find it under Abschnitte → Location (Sections, then Location).
Adding places
The "Locations" accordion gives you three buttons:
"Trauung hinzufügen" (add ceremony) for the church or the registry office
"Empfang & Feier hinzufügen" (add reception and party) for the venue in the evening
"Weitere Location hinzufügen" (add another location) for everything else, the welcome drinks for example
One place or three: the layout adapts automatically. One place is shown as a wide card, two side by side, and from three places on in three columns.
Letting the address fill itself in
This is the quickest way. Type the name of the venue into the field "Adresse suchen" (search address) and pick the matching suggestion. The name, street, postcode, city, country, the Google Maps link, the coordinates and often even a photo and the rating are taken over for you.
Adding the details
Uhrzeit und Ende: the start time and the end time. The page then says something like "18:00 Uhr bis 23:00 Uhr". Without an end time it simply shows the start.
Label auf der Karte: the small text above the name, by default "Trauung", "Empfang & Feier" or "Weitere Location".
Beschreibung und Dresscode: description and dress code, for example "Cocktail, Business Casual".
Parkhinweise, ÖPNV und Barrierefreiheit: parking notes, public transport and accessibility, exactly the details everyone otherwise asks about one by one.
Bild: your own photo of the venue.
Map, route and rating
The "Anzeige" (Display) accordion holds three switches:
"Karte anzeigen": embeds the Google map.
"Route-Button": shows the button "Route anzeigen", which leads straight into Google Maps.
"Google-Bewertung anzeigen": shows the stars and the number of reviews.
Good to know: Your own image replaces the map. If you have set both, your guests see the photo. Delete the image if the map matters more to you.
Frequently asked questions
Why can I not see a map?
The map needs coordinates, and those only come from the address search. On top of that, no image of your own may be set. On a phone the map is always hidden, it becomes visible from tablet size upwards.
The button "Route anzeigen" is missing.
It only appears when the field "Google Maps Link" is filled. The address search fills it automatically, but you can also paste the link yourself.
Why can I not see any stars?
The rating is only there if you found the place through the address search. With addresses typed in by hand the system does not know the venue.
How do I delete a place?
With the bin icon in the header of that place.
