Your maid of honor, your best man, the best friend who keeps an eye on everything all day: in the section "Trauzeugen" (Witnesses) you introduce the people who stand by your side on the big day. Your guests then know immediately who they can turn to, and the introduction is a little thank you at the same time.
Setting the heading
Under Abschnitte → Trauzeugen → "Überschrift" (Sections, then Trauzeugen, then Heading) you adjust the title (placeholder "Trauzeugen") and the subtitle (placeholder "Die Menschen, die uns am großen Tag zur Seite stehen...").
Adding people
Open the "Personen" (People) accordion. The title shows you where you stand, "Personen (2/6)" for example.
Click "Person hinzufügen".
Upload an image in the field "Foto". The crop is square, so a portrait fits perfectly.
Enter the Name and Rolle (role), for example "Trauzeugin" or "Beste Freundin".
Add a short Beschreibung (description), an anecdote is lovely here, and optionally E-Mail, Telefon and Instagram.
Each person becomes a card on the page. A single person is centered, from two people on it becomes two columns. For your guests the contact links read "E-Mail", "Anrufen" (call) and "Instagram". Without a photo a placeholder icon appears.
Good to know: Six people are the maximum. After that the button is disabled and "Maximale Anzahl (6) erreicht." appears. And one more thing: the order cannot be changed afterwards. So add the people in the order you want them to appear.
Frequently asked questions
How do I enter Instagram correctly?
Both work: "@username" or the full address of the profile. A link is created from it automatically.
Can I introduce other people too?
Yes, the role is a free text field. So "Blumenkind" (flower girl), "Hochzeitsplanerin" (wedding planner) or "DJ des Abends" work just as well.
Why are there two empty entries already?
When you add the section, two slots are prepared with the roles "Trauzeuge" and "Trauzeugin". Fill them in or remove them with the bin icon.
The page says "Noch keine Trauzeugen hinterlegt".
Then the list is empty. Add a person or hide the section until you have.
