Reporting a problem

How to send us a bug with a subject, description and screenshots straight from the dashboard.

Written by Max Weber

Something isn't loading, isn't saving or looks odd? Annoying, but quickly told. With „Bug melden" (Report a bug) you send us the problem straight from the dashboard, screenshot included. We automatically see which event it's about, and you can read our answer later in your own time.

How to report a bug

  1. In the navigation on the left, under Verwalten (Manage), click „Was ist neu" (What's new).

  2. The button „Bug melden" is waiting at the top right. One click opens the form.

  3. Under „Betreff" (Subject), put in a few words what it's about, for example „Gästeliste lädt nicht" (Guest list isn't loading). Up to 140 characters fit in there.

  4. Below that, describe what you did, what happened and what you would have expected. You have plenty of room here, up to 5,000 characters.

  5. If you like, attach screenshots by clicking the field or simply with drag & drop. You can remove a wrongly chosen image again with one click before you send.

  6. Send it off. The confirmation appears: „Danke! Deine Meldung ist bei uns eingegangen." (Thanks! We have received your report.)

What fits into the form

  • Subject: maximum 140 characters, required.

  • Description: maximum 5,000 characters, also required.

  • Screenshots: maximum 3 images, each up to 5 MB. Only image files are possible, so no PDFs or videos.

Good to know: You can have at most 5 reports open at the same time. If there are more, the note „Du hast bereits 5 offene Meldungen. Bitte warte auf eine Antwort." (You already have 5 open reports. Please wait for an answer.) appears. As soon as we've answered and closed one of them, there's room again.

What happens next

We'll look at your report and answer you right inside it. You'll get the notification „Antwort auf deine Bug-Meldung" (Reply to your bug report) in the bell at the top right, and one click on it takes you into the thread. Everything else is in the article „Deine Meldungen verfolgen und antworten" (Following up on your reports and replying).

Frequently asked questions

My screenshot isn't accepted.
Then it's either larger than 5 MB or not an image file. A normal screenshot as PNG or JPG always works.

I have several events. How do you know which one I mean?
The event that is currently selected is sent along automatically. So switch to the affected event beforehand if it's about a different one.

My question isn't about a bug but about how something works.
Then it's better to write to us in the chat at the bottom right of the dashboard. That's quicker than a bug report.
