Setting up the schedule for your wedding day

How to create program items with a time and a description, so your guests always know what happens when.

Written by Max Weber

Arrival, ceremony, welcome drinks, dinner, the first dance: when your guests know what happens when, everyone arrives relaxed. The section "Tagesablauf" (Schedule) shows your day as a timeline, with the time on the left and the program item right next to it.

Setting the heading

Under Abschnitte → Tagesablauf → "Überschrift" (Sections, then Tagesablauf, then Heading) you adjust the title (placeholder "Tagesablauf") and the subtitle (placeholder "So haben wir den Tag geplant...").

Adding program items

  1. Open the "Programmpunkte" (program items) accordion.

  2. Click "Programmpunkt hinzufügen".

  3. Choose the Uhrzeit (time) and enter a Titel (title), for example "Trauung".

  4. The Beschreibung (description) is optional. A note like "Bitte seid 15 Minuten vorher da" fits nicely here.

The arrows on a program item change the order, the bin icon deletes it. Items without a title are listed as "Programmpunkt 1", "Programmpunkt 2" and so on.

Good to know: The section starts with six sample items (Ankunft, Trauung, Sektempfang, Dinner, Eröffnungstanz, Party). Adjust them to your real schedule or delete whatever you are not having.

Frequently asked questions

Can I give each item an end time?
No, every program item has exactly one time. If the duration matters to you, write it into the description.

Why does one item only show a dash?
Then the time is missing. Add it and it appears in the badge.

Are there icons or a different layout?
No. The timeline view is fixed, there is no icon picker and no way to highlight single items. You can give the section your own colors in the "Farben" (Colors) accordion, though.

When do my guests see the schedule?
As soon as you have published your page with Premium. Creating and changing it is free at any time.
