The order in the sidebar is the order on your website. If the RSVP should move further up or the countdown would rather sit at the end, that is done in a few seconds.
Moving with your mouse
Open the list „Abschnitte" (sections) on the left.
Hover over the entry you would like to move. The handle with the three lines appears on the left of the entry.
Hold the handle down and drag the section up or down. The entry is highlighted while you do.
Let go. The preview on the right shows the new order right away.
Without a mouse, with your keyboard only
Jump to the handle of the section with the tab key.
Pick it up with the space bar.
Move it up or down with the arrow keys.
Put it down again with the space bar.
What is worth knowing
Hidden sections can be moved as well. They then sit at the new spot as soon as you show them again.
Moving counts as a change: the editor saves it automatically, and you can take it back with undo (Cmd/Ctrl+Z).
For your guests to see the new order, click „Veröffentlichen" (publish) once more afterwards.
Good to know: After reordering, take a quick look at the mobile view. On a phone the sections sit one below the other, and sometimes an order feels quite different there than it does on a big screen.
Frequently asked questions
Does the hero have to be right at the top?
It is not a rule, but it looks loveliest that way. The hero is the grand opening with your names and the date, which is why that is its place.
I cannot get hold of the section.
Do drag the handle with the three lines on the far left of the entry. A click on the name opens the settings of the section instead.
