The Anmeldung (Sign-up) section is the heart of your page. This is where your guests say yes or no, and afterwards you see in your dashboard exactly who is coming, who is bringing someone along and who eats vegetarian. For a birthday the form already comes prefilled in the first person, with the title “Bist du dabei?” (Are you in?) and a warm thank you after sending.
Showing the RSVP deadline
Open Abschnitte → Anmeldung (Sections → Sign-up) and expand Deadline. Switch on “Deadline anzeigen” (Show deadline), write your Deadline-Text (“Bitte meldet euch bis zum” by default, meaning “Please let us know by”) and pick the Deadline-Datum (deadline date) in the calendar. Your guests then see the note right above the form.
Choosing what you want to know
In the Formularfelder (Form fields) area you switch every question on or off individually:
Contact details: “E-Mail-Feld anzeigen” (Show email field) and “Telefon-Feld anzeigen” (Show phone field), each with a second toggle that makes the field required
Reply options: With allow “Noch unsicher” (Not sure yet) your guests get a maybe alongside yes and no. It is switched on by default and later shows up as its own status in your guest list.
Paar-Anmeldung (Couple sign-up): two name fields instead of one, plus the checkbox “Ich komme alleine” (I am coming on my own) for your guest
Plus ones and children: each with its own wording, and for children you can also ask for their names
Catering: “Ernährungsweise abfragen” (Ask about diet) and “Allergien abfragen” (Ask about allergies)
Extras: “Musikwunsch abfragen” (Ask for a song request), “Übernachtung abfragen” (Ask about staying overnight) and “Shuttle abfragen” (Ask about the shuttle)
Message: a free text field with its own heading, for example “Nachricht an mich” (Message for me)
Good to know: When you switch on Paar-Anmeldung, “Begleitung abfragen” (Ask about a plus one) is greyed out and carries the note “Nicht bei Paar-Anmeldung” (Not with couple sign-up). The two do not work together, because the second name field already covers the plus one.
What your guests really see
The reply options are called “Ja” (Yes), “Nein” (No) and, if you allow it, “Vielleicht” (Maybe).
All the extra questions only appear with a yes. Anyone who declines gets a short form and does not have to click through questions about allergies.
With a no the email field disappears too, unless you have made it a required field.
The diet options are “Keine Einschränkungen” (No restrictions), “Vegetarisch” (Vegetarian), “Vegan”, “Pescetarisch” (Pescatarian) and “Sonstiges” (Other).
Each guest can only sign up once. On a second attempt they see a note that their sign-up has already been received.
The texts after sending
In the Bestätigungs-Texte (Confirmation texts) area you write what your guests read after their click: Bestätigungs-Titel (confirmation title), Zusage-Nachricht (message for a yes) and Absage-Nachricht (message for a no). This is the moment your guests feel that little bit of joy. One personal sentence does more here than any design.
Frequently asked questions
I cannot click “Anmeldung absenden” (Send sign-up) in the editor.
The editor only shows you a preview, so the form cannot be submitted there. Real sign-ups become possible as soon as your page is published. Publishing needs Premium, setting up the form is free.
Where do the replies end up?
Every sign-up appears in your dashboard under Gäste (Guests) and you get a notification through the bell.
I cannot change the subtitle of the sign-up section.
That is right, only Titel (title) and Beschreibung (description) can be edited here. The subtitle is set automatically when you create your page, for example “Laura freut sich auf deine Zusage” (Laura is looking forward to your yes). Simply put your personal words into the description.
