The loveliest moment after publishing is the first yes. Your guests don't need to install anything or sign up anywhere: they open your link, scroll to the Anmeldung (RSVP) section and reply right there on the page.
What your guests see
First comes the question “Nimmst du teil?” (Will you be joining us?) with the answers “Ja” (yes) and “Nein” (no). If you've allowed “Noch unsicher” (not sure yet) in the editor, “Vielleicht” (maybe) is added. Below that, they enter their name in two fields, “Vorname” (first name) and “Nachname” (last name). Both are required, and the same goes for a plus-one. For children, a first name is enough. Then they fill in the fields you've switched on and send everything with “Anmeldung absenden” (send RSVP) or “Absage senden” (send decline). Finally, your personal confirmation text appears, the one you wrote yourself.
If your guest comes through their personal link, the page greets them by their first name and their name is already filled in. Anything that's pre-filled and that they don't change stays exactly as it is in your guest list, even if, for example, only a first name is saved there. So anyone who has already replied doesn't need to enter anything again.
What you set up beforehand
In the editor, open the Anmeldung (RSVP) section. There you decide on:
Heading and description, so how you address your guests. Delete the text completely if you'd rather leave out one of the two lines: then there's simply nothing above the form.
Which fields are shown, for example email, phone, plus-one, children, dietary preferences, allergies, song request, accommodation, shuttle or a free message field.
Deadline, so by when you'd like to hear back.
Locking replies, if a yes or no should stay exactly as your guests sent it. How that works in detail is explained in the article “Lock replies after they're sent”.

Where the replies end up
Every reply goes straight into your Gästeliste (guest list). If someone says yes with a plus-one, the matching entries are created right away. You also get a notification via the bell in your dashboard and, if you've turned it on under Einstellungen → Allgemein (Settings → General), an email as well.
Good to know: As long as you haven't switched on the reply lock, your guests can correct their reply themselves. They simply fill in the form again, with their personal link anyway, and without the link as long as they enter the same name and the same email address as the first time. The new reply replaces the old one, and on the Rückmeldungen (Responses) page a “Antwort geändert” (reply changed) card shows the before and after. So you can always see what has shifted. If the lock is on, a yes or no stays exactly as it was sent, and any changes go through you.
Frequently asked questions
Does the form close automatically after the deadline?
No, the date is only displayed. Latecomers can still RSVP.
Can I test the RSVP myself?
Absolutely, and it's a great idea. Real RSVPs only work through the published page. Send yourself the link, fill in the form and check whether your entry appears under Gäste (Guests). You can delete the test entry afterwards.
A guest appears twice. How can that happen?
Anyone who replies without their personal invitation link is matched by name and email address. If the spelling is different, we'd rather create a new entry than overwrite the wrong reply. You'll recognise it by the “Möglicher Doppeleintrag” (possible duplicate) label in your guest list, and you can combine the two with “Zusammenführen…” (merge) in the three-dot menu. If they really are two different people with the same name, choose “Kein Doppeleintrag” (not a duplicate) there and the label disappears. The least work is to send your guests their personal link from the guest list right away, then the match is always right.
