Your website is set up and all that is missing now is your account. That is what makes the website yours: you can keep editing it at any time, manage your guests and publish it later. The whole thing takes less than two minutes.
Creating your account
At the end of the wizard and of the AI chat, the step „Konto erstellen" (create account) appears. You fill in:
Your display name, so we know how to address you.
Your email address. Your confirmation code goes to this address, and later all messages about your event.
Your password, repeated once to confirm it. The checklist under the field ticks off live what is still missing: at least 6 characters, one capital letter and one number.
The checkbox for the terms of use and the privacy policy.
One click on „Registrieren" (register) and we send you a confirmation code by email.
Confirming your email
In the step „E-Mail bestätigen" (confirm email) you see your address partly hidden and a field for the code. Look in your inbox for the message Dein Bestätigungscode für Unsere Einladung and type in the 6 digits. The code is checked automatically, you do not have to click anything else. After that your account and your event exist and you land straight in the editor.
The code is valid for 10 minutes. After that you see „Der Code ist abgelaufen. Bitte fordere einen neuen an." (the code has expired, please request a new one).
You have 5 tries. If you mistype, we show you how many tries are left.
„Erneut senden" (send again) becomes active after 60 seconds, and a small countdown runs until then.
Each email address can request 5 codes within 15 minutes, after which we ask you to wait a few minutes.
Good to know: No email in your inbox? Please have a look in your spam folder, the codes end up there now and then. If you mistyped your address, go one step back with „Zurück" (back) and correct it.
Frequently asked questions
It says „Diese E-Mail ist bereits registriert. Bitte melde dich an." (this email is already registered, please sign in)
Then an account with this address already exists. Sign in with „Anmelden" (sign in) instead. If you no longer remember your password, use „Vergessen?" (forgotten?) there and set a new one.
My code has expired or I mistyped too often.
Wait for the countdown and click „Erneut senden" (send again). With the fresh code you have all your tries back.
Can I sign in with Google or Apple?
No, with us signing in always works with your email address and a password.
Can I create just an account, without an event?
That is not how it works. Your account and your first event website come into being together on unsere-einladung.de/neu. You can add more events later at any time.
Is my work lost if I cancel this step?
Your event is only saved once you confirm. So better not cancel in the middle of the step, and calmly get yourself a new code instead.
