Your account belongs to you, not to a single event. You'll find everything to do with it under Einstellungen → Account (Settings → Account).
Profile picture and display name
Open Einstellungen → Account and go to the card „Profil" (Profile).
Drag your picture into the area „Bild hierher ziehen oder durchsuchen" (Drag image here or browse) or click into it and choose a file. Allowed are PNG and JPG up to 2 MB.
Enter your display name.
Click „Profil speichern" (Save profile).
If you want to get rid of your picture again, click the small × at the top right of the image. The placeholder then comes back.
Changing your email address
Go to the card „Anmeldedaten" (Login details) and click „E-Mail ändern" (Change email).
In the dialog, enter the „Neue E-Mail-Adresse" (New email address) and your „Aktuelles Passwort" (Current password). We ask for the password for security reasons.
Click „Bestätigungslink senden" (Send confirmation link).
Open the inbox of the new address and click the link in our email.
Good to know: The new address only counts once you have clicked the confirmation link. Until then you keep signing in with your old email.
Resetting your password
In the card „Anmeldedaten", next to „Passwort zurücksetzen" (Reset password), click „Link senden" (Send link). We'll send a link to the address currently on file. You choose your new password through that link.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the email address in the profile card greyed out?
Because it belongs to your login. You can only change it through the card „Anmeldedaten", with a password check and a confirmation link.
My password isn't accepted.
If you originally signed up through a provider like Google, there is no separate password for your account. Just drop us a line at [email protected] and we'll help you.
The confirmation email doesn't arrive.
Please have a look in your spam folder and check whether there's a typo in the new address. After that you can simply send the link again.
Does the profile apply to all my events?
Yes. Your profile, login details and billing address belong to your account and apply to every celebration you plan with it.
