Keeping an eye on replies and page views

Where to see how many guests have answered and how often your page has been visited, now that the separate statistics page is gone.

Written by Max Weber

The separate Statistiken (statistics) page is gone. Its numbers have moved to the places you look at anyway: your overview, your guest list and your replies. That saves you a click, and you no longer have to remember a second version of the truth.

How many people have replied

The quickest answer is on your Übersicht (overview), the start page of your dashboard.

Right at the top, in the welcome area, „Zusagen noch offen" (acceptances still open) tells you how many guests you do not have a firm answer from yet. „Vielleicht" (maybe) answers count towards it, because nothing has been decided there.

Below that sits the card „Gäste & RSVP". The ring splits your list into Zugesagt (accepted, green), Abgesagt (declined, red) and Ausstehend (pending, gold), with the numbers next to it and, on a computer, the percentages as well. The slim bar underneath shows the same proportions once more across the width. On a computer, „Letzte Antworten" (latest answers) follows with up to three recent replies, and then the „Ernährungspräferenzen" (dietary preferences) as bars, which only count guests who have accepted.

If more people are coming than there are entries, a line such as „Das sind 84 Personen, wenn du Kinder und Begleitungen mitzählst." (that is 84 people if you count children and plus ones) sits right under the heading. That is exactly the number your venue asks for.

On your phone there are four extra tiles under the welcome area: „Gäste" (guests), „Zusagen" (acceptances), „Absagen" (declines) and „Aufrufe" (page views).

Your response rate

Above your guest list under Gäste (guests) there are four tiles: „Gesamt" (total), „Zugesagt", „Abgesagt" and „Ausstehend". Zugesagt, Abgesagt and Ausstehend carry the percentage in relation to your total number of guests. That is your response rate at a glance. If children are signed up, „Gesamt" and „Zugesagt" carry their number as a small addition, for example „+ 3 Kinder" (plus 3 children). On „Zugesagt" the percentage steps aside for it.

„Vielleicht" answers run under „Ausstehend", because a decision is still missing there. When the numbers do not seem to add up, that is usually the explanation.

How often your page was visited

The views of your published page sit on your Übersicht (overview) in the tile „Aufrufe" (page views), right next to Gäste, Zusagen and Absagen.

We only show that row of tiles on narrow screens, so on a phone. On a big screen it is hidden, because the welcome area and the „Gäste & RSVP" card already carry everything important. If you want to see your page views on a computer, simply make your browser window narrower and the row appears.

Good to know: Counting only starts once your page is published. While you are still designing, the number stays at 0. And your own visits count too. If you check your own page often, the number is a little higher than the real number of guests.

Every reply in detail

Who answered what and when is under Rückmeldungen (replies). Every yes, no and maybe runs there as a card in a timeline, the newest at the top, with the comment, the number of people and a link to the guest's profile. Plus ones and children sit right with their main guest.

Frequently asked questions

Where has the „Statistiken" page gone?
We removed it. Everything that was there is now on your overview, above your guest list and under Rückmeldungen. Nothing has been lost, it simply sits closer to where you work with it.

Does this cost me extra?
No. All of these numbers are freely accessible. Only page views start counting once your page is online, and for that you need Premium.

Can I see who visited my page?
No. We only count how often the page was opened, never who is behind it. Who has replied is in your guest list and under Rückmeldungen.
