With your purchase your page is online for exactly one year, counted from the purchase date. Nothing dramatic happens after that: we remind you in good time and your work is kept either way.
Before it expires
From 30 days before the end you'll see, in Einstellungen → Abo (Settings → Subscription), the yellow warning „Dein Abo läuft bald ab" (Your subscription expires soon) with the number of days left.
We also send you a reminder by email 30 days and 7 days beforehand. On top of that you'll see a note at the bell in the dashboard.
These reminders go out once a day. The exact timing can therefore shift by up to a day.
What happens after the year
Your page is taken offline automatically. Visitors then only see the note that the page will be available soon.
All content, your guest list, the replies and your images are kept. Your page lives on as a draft.
After it expires, your address stays reserved for you for another 90 days. Only then can someone else take it.
How to renew
Open Einstellungen → Abo (Settings → Subscription).
In the card „Dein Abo" (Your subscription), click „Abo verlängern" (Renew subscription).
Tick „Ich akzeptiere die AGB und Datenschutzerklärung" (I accept the terms and the privacy policy) again and complete the payment.
Afterwards, go into the editor and click „Veröffentlichen" (Publish) once so your page can be reached again.
Good to know: At the moment renewal only works once your year has really expired. While your Premium is still active, the button reports an error. If you absolutely want to renew earlier, just write to us at [email protected]. We'll take care of it.
Frequently asked questions
Does my access renew automatically?
No. There is no automatic renewal and you don't have to cancel anything either.
Does the term pause when I take my page offline?
No, the year keeps running. So only take your page offline if you really don't want to show it at the moment.
My page has expired. Are my guests' replies gone?
No, everything is still there. After renewing and one click on „Veröffentlichen" (Publish), everything is back as it was.
I renewed after 90 days. Do I get my old address back?
Only if it's still free. After those 90 days it is released again and can be taken by others. So better renew earlier.
