With your purchase, your term of one or two years begins, counted from the date of purchase. Your guests only see your page, though, once you publish your Save the Date or your invitation. When the term is over, nothing dramatic happens: we remind you in good time and your work is kept in any case.
Before it expires
From 30 days before the end, the yellow warning „Deine Laufzeit endet bald" (your term ends soon) appears in Einstellungen → Verbleibende Laufzeit (Settings → remaining term), together with the number of days left.
We also send you a reminder by email 30 days and 7 days beforehand. On top of that, you will see a notice at the bell in the dashboard.
These reminders go out once a day. The exact timing can therefore shift by up to one day.
What happens after it expires
Your page is taken offline automatically. Visitors then only see the note that the page will be available soon.
All content, your guest list, the replies and your pictures are kept. Your page lives on as a draft.
After it expires, your address stays reserved for you for another 90 days. Only after that can someone else take it.
How to renew
Open Einstellungen (Settings). While your term is running, the tab is called „Verbleibende Laufzeit" (remaining term), after it has expired it is called „Premium freischalten" (unlock Premium) again.
In the „Deine Laufzeit" (your term) card, click „Laufzeit verlängern" (renew term).
Tick „Ich akzeptiere die AGB und Datenschutzerklärung" (I accept the terms and the privacy policy) again and complete the payment.
If your page was published when the term ended, it is back for your guests right after the payment. You don't need to do anything else.
Good to know: If you had taken your page offline yourself before it expired, or never published it, it stays invisible after the renewal too. In that case you publish it again under Webseite (website), as a Save the Date or as an invitation, whenever you are ready.
Good to know: You can renew at any time, and the new term is added on to your existing one. So you don't lose a single day. In total you can book up to 36 months in advance.
Frequently asked questions
Does my access renew automatically?
No. There is no automatic renewal and you don't have to cancel anything either.
Is the term paused when I take my page offline?
No, the term keeps running. So only take your page offline if you really don't want to show it right now.
My page has expired. Are my guests' replies gone?
No, everything is still there. After the renewal everything is just as it was before, and a published page is back online straight away.
I renewed after the 90 days. Do I get my old address back?
Only if it is still free. After the 90 days it is released again and others can take it. So it's better to renew earlier.
I'm planning an event along with someone. Can I renew the term?
Only the person who manages the event can renew it. In your „Laufzeit“ (term) tab, instead of the button, you see the note „Freischalten und verlängern kann …“ (… can unlock and renew) with their name. The email reminders about the end of the term go to them as well, while you both see the notice in the bell.
