On the right of the editor runs the live preview. It shows your website the way your guests will see it, and it refreshes with every change right away. Since most of your guests will open the invitation on their phone, it is worth looking at both views.
Switching between desktop and phone
In the middle of the header sits the switch „Desktop" / „Mobile". Desktop shows your website at 1280 pixels wide, Mobile at 430 pixels, so really the way it looks on a phone and not just squeezed into something narrower. Before you publish, walk calmly through the mobile view once: how do your headings wrap, do the images sit well, is the RSVP button easy to hit?
Switching is purely a matter of view. Nothing about your website changes, and the setting is not saved either.
Editing directly in the preview
Move your mouse over a section. A label with its title appears at the top left, along with a colored frame.
One click selects the section and opens its settings on the left. That is often quicker than going through the list.
If you select a section in the list, the preview scrolls there automatically.
With the escape key you clear the selection again and are back in the section list.
Hidden sections in the preview
Sections you have hidden appear faded and carry the note „Ausgeblendet" (hidden). You can still click and edit them, but they do not show up on your public website.
Good to know: If your browser window is narrower than the simulated device width, the editor scales the preview down. Your text then looks smaller than it really is. Simply pull the window wider and the impression is right again.

As a rule, no. That is the preview being scaled down in a narrow window. Make your browser wider, or look at your website under your own address once you have published it.
Can I show my website to someone before publishing?
The preview lives in the editor and is only visible to you. Your website only becomes publicly reachable once you publish it.
