Sometimes a page needs a short pause. The section "Zitat" (Quote) puts one single sentence center stage, your favorite saying, a line from a song or something you promised each other. It works especially beautifully between two sections full of content.
Entering the quote
Open Abschnitte → Zitat → "Inhalt" (Sections, then Zitat, then Content).
Write your text into the field "Zitat". It is a rich text field, so you can set single words in bold or italics.
Optional: add a small heading in the field "Titel (optional)", for example "Unser Lieblingsspruch".
Optional: use the field "Autor (optional)" to say who the sentence is from.
Choosing the style
The "Anzeige" (Display) accordion decides the mood:
"Elegant": fine lines above and below the quote, the text is italic
"Schlicht": understated, with typographic quotation marks
"Dekorativ": large quotation marks above and below
Good to know: With the "Schlicht" style the system adds the quotation marks itself. So do not type them in as well, otherwise they end up there twice.
Frequently asked questions
Can I add a background image?
No, there is no image of its own for this section. In the "Farben" (Colors) accordion you can set it apart on purpose, though, with a dark background color and light text for example. That looks very elegant.
How is the author shown?
With the styles "Schlicht" and "Dekorativ" there is a small dash in front of the name, the way you know it from books.
Do I have to keep the preset quote?
No. When you add the section there is a sample sentence in the "Elegant" style. Just replace it with your own.
