At some point your venue asks for the final head count, the caterer asks for vegetarian portions, and you yourself wonder about beds and shuttle seats. That is exactly what the three cards under Statistiken (Statistics) are there for, they add your replies up for you. So there is no list left to count through by hand.
Good to know: Only guests with the status „Zugesagt" (accepted) are counted in these three overviews. Declines and open replies do not count. So the numbers grow with every new yes.
Diets and allergies
The „Ernährung" (diet) card shows the number of your confirmed guests at the top and below it bars for Standard, Vegetarisch (vegetarian), Vegan, Pescetarisch (pescatarian) and Andere (other). „Standard" covers everyone who accepted without a special wish. Categories without a single guest are hidden, so the card stays easy to read.
If at least one guest has mentioned an allergy, the section „Allergien" (allergies) appears below with all the entries. You can pass this list on to your caterer exactly as it is. As long as nobody has accepted yet, it says „Noch keine bestätigten Gäste" (no confirmed guests yet).
The final head count
The „Zusätzliche Angaben" (additional details) card sums up what your guests filled in on your reply form. The „Gesamtpersonen" (total people) figure stands out large, and the line „Zusagen inklusive Begleitungen und Kinder" (acceptances including companions and children) below explains it. What is counted here are people, not list entries: every yes counts once, plus their children and, if no name was entered, their confirmed companion. A companion who was given a name is already in your list as a guest of their own, so nobody is counted twice. That is exactly the number your venue needs. Below it you will find, one by one:
„Erwachsene" (adults) and „Kinder" (children), handy for children's menus and childcare. „Erwachsene" is simply everyone apart from the children.
„Begleitungen" (companions), so all the confirmed companions. They are already part of the adults, so there is no need to add them on top.
„Übernachtung" (overnight stay) and „Shuttle", if you switched these fields on in your reply form. Without those fields the tiles naturally stay empty.
Who belongs with whom
The „Gruppen" (groups) card shows „Gäste insgesamt" (guests in total) and below it how your list spreads across your guest groups, sorted from the largest group to the smallest. Under the dividing line, the two biggest groups are highlighted with their percentage as soon as there are at least two groups. That helps with the seating plan and with the question of whether the bride's or the groom's side still has gaps.
For a wedding you can choose between the groups Familie Braut (bride's family), Familie Bräutigam (groom's family), Freunde Braut (bride's friends), Freunde Bräutigam (groom's friends), Gemeinsame Freunde (mutual friends), Kollegen (colleagues) and Andere (other), and for a birthday among others Familie (family), Freunde (friends), Gastgeber-Familie (host's family), Kollegen and Andere. Guests without a group land under „Andere" automatically.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the head count smaller than my guest list?
Because only acceptances count. Anyone who has not answered yet does not appear here. A look at „Ausstehend" (pending) shows you how much movement can still come.
A group is missing from my choices.
The groups are fixed and follow your type of event. You cannot create your own. For special cases simply use „Andere".
I would like to send the numbers to my caterer.
Take the total number of people, the dietary bars and the allergy list. Keep in mind that the values still change with every late yes.
